Treatments > Crowded Spacing
"The shortest distance between two people is a smile."
Crowded Teeth
Crowded teeth, caused by a too small jaw or too large teeth can twist or displace the existing teeth. This condition also may be the result of too early or late loss of your primary teeth, as well as when teeth erupt improperly.
This condition can:
- Make it difficult to thoroughly clean all your teeth
- Create tooth decay
- Cause gum disease
- Create improper functioning of your teeth
- Create a less attractive smile

CROWDED TEETH CORRECTION
Orthodontic jaw expansion or teeth extraction can create the necessary space required for braces to realign your teeth.
Correction will help prevent tooth decay and the potential for gum disease. It also will be easier to thoroughly clean your teeth and remove plaque.
Spacing Problems
Gaps between your teeth usually occur when your teeth are too small teeth to fill the available space. Protruding, missing or impacted teeth and problem gums also can create spacing problems.
Spacing, the opposite of crowding, is an excess of space for your teeth, resulting in gaps between your teeth. This generally occurs when the teeth are smaller than the available space. Spacing can also be caused by protrusive teeth, missing or impacted teeth, or abnormal tissue attachments to the gums.
This condition can cause:
- Gum problems
- Improper teeth functioning
- An unattractive smile
